Chartered Surveyors

“We do not wait for claims to be presented—we quantify them.”

Complex Claims brings together as an integrated technical capability of Chartered Quantity Surveyors and Chartered Engineers.

This approach strengthens the quality and consistency of analysis, and supports faster, more accurate and cost-effective outcomes.

How We Work

From the point of instruction, we apply a structured, project-managed framework to every claim. Critical issues are identified early, including policy response, scope of loss, contractual context and stakeholder priorities and a clear roadmap is established with defined milestones and deliverables.

A key differentiator is our Chartered Surveying capability, which enables early, independent assessment of quantum. Rather than waiting for the insured to present a claim, we work proactively with all parties, insurers, brokers and policyholders to define scope and develop robust, ground-up cost estimates in accordance with RICS professional standards.

This approach provides early visibility of potential exposure, informs mitigation strategies, and supports timely, well-informed decision-making. Drawing on our own cost data and technical expertise, we produce independent valuations and, where appropriate, design and run tender processes or oversee the progression of remedial works.

Our adjusters work closely with Complex Claims surveying and advisory teams to maintain a consistent and integrated view of each claim. Supported by proprietary tools, including Loss Management Schedules, structured communication frameworks and early-stage valuation methodologies, we ensure quantum is assessed accurately and progressed efficiently.

We complement this with an extensive database of historic claims data, enabling us to identify trends, recurring defects and loss patterns. These insights support practical advice on risk mitigation, repair strategies and salvage, contributing to more efficient and controlled claim outcomes.
